Product Designer

We are looking for a Product (UI/UX) Designer on a contract to hire basis to join our product team. As a core member of this small team, you will have an impact on the entire product design life cycle, from proposing initial ideas to ensuring high quality, pixel perfect releases. You are passionate about and can bring to the table skills in interaction, visual, iconography, and most importantly, strong product thinking and problem solving.

The role:

  • Design easy-to-use and intuitive product experiences
  • Help define the short and long-term roadmap for your product area
  • Be open to giving and receiving design feedback
  • Work with engineers closely to ensure your designs are built as spec’d
  • Define user specifications, flows, and interaction models

  • Ability to think at a high level about product strategy and into the details of user experience

  • 3+ years experience designing and shipping mobile applications
  • Strong visual and interaction design skills
  • Ability to break down user stories and flows to find UX problems
  • Ability to prototype designs (in code or using a prototyping tool such as Flinto, Framer, Principle, After Effects, etc)
  • Proficiency (or desire to learn) Sketch as a UI tool
  • Positive and responsive self­-starter with a good work ethic and attention to detail.
